Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it to your toolbar so the icon is always visible.
Open any website, click the FullPageSS icon and choose Capture Full Page. The editor opens when it finishes.
Alt+Shift+F captures the full page, Alt+Shift+V the visible area, and Alt+Shift+S a selected area. You can change these in chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Full page for everything, visible area for what is on screen, selected area to drag a box, or element to click one component.
Some sites load images only as you scroll. Set Capture Speed to Maximum Compatibility in Settings — it pre-scrolls the page so lazy-loaded images arrive before the capture.
Turn on "Hide repeating fixed elements" in Settings. FullPageSS then keeps sticky headers for the first screen only.
Browsers cap how large an image can be. Past that ceiling FullPageSS scales the capture to fit and tells you by how much, rather than failing or producing a blank image.
Chrome blocks all extensions from reading chrome:// pages, the Web Store and other extensions. This is a browser restriction and applies to every screenshot tool.
Chrome can only capture the tab in front. Switching tabs mid-capture stops it, and the page is restored. Keep the tab in view until it finishes.
Choose the Crop tool, drag the area you want to keep, then click Apply crop. Undo restores the full image.
Draw one, then switch to Select and drag its handles to change angle, length or size afterwards.
Pick the Text tool and click where you want it. Set colour and size in the right-hand panel.
Drag over anything sensitive. Blur softens it; pixelate replaces it with a mosaic and is not reversible once exported.
PNG for anything with text — it is lossless. JPG when file size matters more than perfect edges.
Press Cmd/Ctrl+C in the editor, or use the Copy button, then paste straight into Slack, Figma or a document.
Settings → Filename lets you build a pattern from domain, title, date, time and dimensions.
Open the extension, click Upgrade, and complete checkout. You receive a licence key with your confirmation.
Settings → Plan, paste the key and click Activate. One key covers several browsers.
Settings → Plan → Release. That frees the activation so you can use the key elsewhere. Your subscription is not cancelled.
Cancel from your purchase confirmation email or contact support. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
In your browser, on your device. They are never uploaded, and we have no copy of them.
Each one is explained on the extension permissions page, including what it does not allow.

FAQ
A Chrome extension that captures an entire webpage in one click — top to bottom, without you scrolling — then lets you crop, annotate, blur and export the result.
Yes. FullPageSS works through the page one screen at a time and stitches the frames into a single image. Very tall pages are scaled to fit the largest image your browser can build, and the app tells you when that happens instead of silently degrading the result.
No. That is the entire point. FullPageSS scrolls the page for you, handles sticky headers and floating chat widgets so they appear once rather than on every screen, and restores your scroll position afterwards.
No. Screenshots are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device. On the free plan the extension makes no network requests at all. The only request it can make is a daily licence check if you activate Pro, which sends your licence key and nothing else.
No. We do not sell screenshot contents, browsing history or personal information, and we do not inject advertising into pages you visit.
PNG and JPG on the free plan, plus WebP on Pro. PDF export is planned. You can also copy any screenshot straight to your clipboard.
Yes. The free plan includes 10 full-page captures per day, unlimited visible-area and selected-area captures, the editor and 7 days of history. Pro removes the daily limit and adds more export and organisation features.
Google Chrome 116 and later, and Chromium-based browsers that support Manifest V3 extensions, such as Edge, Brave and Arc.
Only to do the job you asked for. FullPageSS uses activeTab, which grants access to a page at the moment you click Capture and no other time. It deliberately does not request access to all websites, so Chrome never warns that it can read your browsing history.
Yes. Cancel from your subscription email or by contacting support. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your screenshots remain on your device either way.
